Legal Assistant - Full time

Estamos en búsqueda de un Legal Assistant para trabajar con una importante empresa de US

La contratación es modalidad contractor, es decir, se paga 100% en USD

JORNADA LABORAL

* Es un trabajo 100% remoto.

* La jornada laboral sería de Lunes a Viernes 7am a 5pm PST (11am a 9pm hora Argentina)

Te cuento un poco sobre las tareas y el puesto:

Duties include, but are not limited to:

* Managing case files and ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete

* Reviewing files to support smooth transitions between pre-litigation and litigation

* Handling court filings, pleadings, and trial preparation tasks (Litigation role)

* Managing attorney calendars and scheduling deadlines

* Communicating with clients, courts, and external agencies in both English and Spanish

* Assisting with discovery, depositions, and general litigation support

* Following up on Medicare/Medicaid documentation

* Supporting probate-related tasks (especially relevant in nursing home cases)

* Performing administrative and clerical tasks as needed

Requirements:

* Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (spoken and written)

* Preferred 1-year experience working in a law firm

* Familiarity with litigation processes and court procedures is a plus (for Litigation role)

* Knowledge of pre-litigation workflows and claims follow-ups is a plus (for Pre-Litigation role)

* Probate and Medicare/Medicaid experience is a plus

* Prior experience with Filevine software is preferred but not required

* Strong computer skills: MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, PowerPoint

* Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines

* Strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages

* Team player who thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

* Willingness to work after hours if necessary

* Open to candidates with less experience if they demonstrate eagerness and capability
